Who are you?
From a history within the printing industry which dates back over 150 years, AMA is now a provider of pre-press services to the publishing industry. Our team has a wide range of skills, from highly technical software and web developers to more traditionally skilled typesetters.
What do you do?
Our business is based on providing bespoke solutions to a wide range of blue-chip reference and directory publishers. Each of our clients has their own requirements, and by using our highly-developed tools and skills, we create our own flexible software solution designed to enhance and improve existing workflows.
How do you do it?
Our first priority is the needs of our client. We listen to what works in their current workflow and look to improve what doesn’t. We then look for the best tools for the job. So that we don’t take ages re-inventing the wheel, we designed our own content management platform and now enhance it with new methods aimed to provide the best possible outcome.
Project size is not an issue as our team is supported by our associate in India, Exeter Premedia Services, who have the skills and size to support us.
Our solutions are iterative: we can change them to suit authors, editors and production needs and we understand the need to provide a skilled yet swift and effective personal service.
